PIXMA E460 Configuration with the Canon ink/SELPHY For Android 

Configure your printer "print/Canon SELPHY ink injection", an application for Android.
Use the "Injection of ink/SELPHY print Canon" easily print or scan from a Smartphone or Tablet (with the later "Smartphone").
You can also the printer ink and other information to verify model numbers.
In this section, descriptions are based appear on screens when I use Android 6.0.

Important

• To download the application, you must log on with a GoogleKonto.
• The application available for download will be free of charge; However, they apply fees link to Google play.
• Download is not possible, if the operating system not with the application environment is compatible. The download of the application page may not appear.
• Installation of the application
• The application has installed a time, go perform the following steps to register the printer.

Important
If you have a wireless router, connect your Smartphone to the wireless router.
If you do not have a Wi-Fi router, select Wi - Fi Wi - Fi settings on your Smartphone screen.
The operational procedures for supplied in the manual with the Smartphone or wireless router or contact with the Smartphone or the wireless router manufacturer.

Note
Sample screens vary depending on your Smartphone.

Make sure that the printer is turned on.
Application and press (printer registration) in the upper left corner of the screen.

Note
License will be shown on the first commissioning.

When the following screen is displayed, click Yes and follow the instructions to register the printer.
When the following screen is not displayed, skip to step 5.

Check whether the printer is in the upper part of the screen is displayed.

If the listed by printers in the upper part of the screen is displayed, the Setup is complete.
If your printer is not detected, proceed with the next step to continue the installation.

Detection of the printer starts.
When the detection of the printer is complete, tap the name of the printer, which will appear on the screen &  accept.

Note
Change the name of the printer.
Check whether the printer is in the upper part of the screen is displayed.

If the listed by printers in the upper part of the screen is displayed, the Setup is complete.
If your printer is not detected, proceed with the next step to continue the installation.

Note
Evidence may take.
If the printer is not recognized, despite your network connection is already full, make sure that the printer with the same router is connected to wireless as a Smartphone.
Tap on wireless LAN configuration tasks.

Make a printer connection.

As soon as the preparations for connection to a printer the screen of the application to return to, and then click Auto-Select method (recommended) - Connecticut.

Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the configuration of the network.
Check whether the printer is in the upper part of the screen is displayed.

If the listed by printers in the upper part of the screen is displayed, the Setup is complete.
If it is not displayed, repeat step 7 configuration.

Note

• Auto select Conn. (recommended) Method, the configuration is complete to determine an application automatically, which connection method in your Smartphone environment preferred is: connect via Wi-Fi router or a direct connection.
• The direct connection restrictions, see "Limitations".
• Print application
• Start the application.
• Tap select images.

Note

• Select images only appears, if you register a printer. If it is not, select images, press the photo printing.
• Select the image that you want to print and then press print.
• To use, type the printers, format, paper, and other parameters.
• Press print.
• Printing process starts with the specified parameters.
